Autumn Colours...

Wow, September 1st already, well you know what that means, yes that's right time for a brand new challenge over at Ready Teddy Go and this weeks theme is Autumn Colours!

This week we have a fantastic sponsor for you  MeiFlower, be sure to check out the slice of crafting heaven!

Now inspiration should be easy enough for this one feels like its creeping in already. But just incase your lucky and are having nice weather, heres mine and mum's creations for you:

Mum's card is made up using one of the cute little bumble bears from last week. The ribbon used is from the Range. The flowers and sentiment I think are from Kanban. Flowers are finished with gems also from the range to add a little sparkle and bling to the card.
My creation is made from various different papers, some of which are from Kanban, I can't remember which paper pack the rest is from but I am pretty sure they came from the Range. Unsure of where the image came from, Mum found it some where. I just love the little scarf around his neck, so cute. Card is finished with some gold card kandi and some glittered leaves, which I purchased from the local stationary store.

Oh Baby ....

How time flies, I have been so busy I am only just managing to get around to blogging the card I made for a friend who has recently given birth to a beautiful litte baby girl. I had a cuddle with her and she is so tiny I could have easily forgotten she was in my arms, needless to say though once she started to cry it was straight back to her mum she went.

All the papers which have been used to make this card is from Kanban, which means it cost pennies to make. The It's a Girl sentiment is also from Kanban - I love this place and if it wasn't for the mountain of stuff me and mum have that's already taking over her house we would be having a trip there very soon. The lettering down the left hand side I think were actually bought from the local pound store - which meant they were a total bargain as it was 2 for £1! The nappy pin was very kindly given to me by one of my aunties who we regularly craft with on a Wednesday. And the punch used is a Martha Stewart one, though not sure which it is, as I borrowed it from Auntie Julie =)

Buttons and Bows ...

So today is the launch of brand new challenge blog
The first challenge is
BUTTONS and BOWS

Being as both myself and Mum are on the DT for the challenge we figured it was only fair that we made 2 cards to show and hopefully inspire you!

Sadly being as I am totally out of touch with not having blogged for a while I totally forgot to make note of what papers were used. Sorry, I promise I will get back in to line with it all for the next post. As for Mum well she never quite got in touch with it the first time around lol! So we will just have to hope she gets used to it eventually!

Ready-Teddy-Go

Ok, as you may have noticed, the big return never happened ... epic fail on my part. Card was made, however had to send it before I could photograph and blog.

So I have decided the big return is to be pushed back until the 1st August, this will tie in with my very first card that I am doing as a Design Team member for a brand new challenge blog:

The rules are pretty simple and the best part is we don't discriminate so long as its a teddy bear and follows the theme for the month its pretty certain that you can enter the challenge.

Today I worked on my first card with my mum of course and I can not wait to show you the out come of it, to say I have been lacking in crafting mojo, which I thought had returned the other week .... well I now know its right back with me. Oh and I guess mum will want her's blogging as well hehe.

Look forward to seeing what I am sure will be amazing entries for the challenge blog!

=) x

Long Time No See

So its been a whole 7 months nearly since my last blog, in this time I have done some crafting however I feel that work has taken over my life just recently.
Over time is now all done, finally they have employed more staff :o) this enables me to spend all my hard earned cash on some new crafting items. And all the free time which I now have on my hands has left me with more time to do the thing I love, CRAFTING.

Hoping to blog a card some time within the next few days, and with a week booked off work, I may even make it a couple! x
